The process of designing one’s living space is personal and creating a home that inspires relaxation and recreation is an important experience in the life of a family. Heather Lund believes that we live better in well-designed spaces – rooms that reflect our values and aesthetic and that functionally support our lifestyles.
A native Californian, Heather’s career began in commercial design. After starting a family and embarking on her own custom home project, she has turned her attention to residential design, where she guides her clients in creating a home they never want to leave.

From Our Clients
We are a couple of busy professionals and have worked with Heather on two homes over the course of nearly 3 years. We were moving into our “forever” home that was in need of renovating and personalizing to make it our own. We had never before hired a designer, so we were unsure how it would work. But we were time poor and desperately wanted to avoid the costly mistakes that we had made in our past remodeling efforts. We also wanted someone who would work well with our contractor and his subcontractors.
Heather was perfect. She spent time learning our tastes and our decision-making process. She crafted a plan for our new home to make it special, ideal for our lifestyle and within our budget. Heather’s sense of style is exquisite; she is delightful to work with; and she presented ideas in a way that matched our personalities (eg “here are 3 choices; this is what I prefer, but you cannot go wrong with any of these…”).
We enjoyed working with Heather on our first project so much that we were delighted when she agreed to work on our mountain cabin. We are still in progress; however, she has added tremendous value to the initial architectural design process, lighting plan, finishes and furniture. Once again, she has worked incredibly well with our contractor and his subs.
